Rehabilitation ist seit Anbeginn eine wesentliche Stütze und ein wesentlicher Teil des Faches Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie mit dem Ziel, Patientinnen und Patienten mit Behinderungen und Fähigkeitsstörungen wieder privat, beruflich und sozial zu integrieren.

Ein wesentlicher Teil dieser Rehabilitation ist die Möglichkeit der weiteren therapeutischen Versorgung nach Krankenhausaufenthalten und Operationen.
